Chapter registrars have a cross-reference capability to see where one patriot's line intersects with various "in-laws", meaning the nonlinecarrying spouse, downstream. Update: they also can now see what documents were turned in on that patriot and let you know if it is worthwhile to order them. For $10 you get everything in the file, including vital records that no longer exist.)
