About Mayflower Faces
Mayflower Faces was created in August 2012 as the project of a Ph.D. research historian who wanted to create a website to fulfill her interest in genealogy and maybe find a few forensic clues as to what the Plymouth Pilgrims actually looked like. A Massachusetts native from a long line of "Damn Yankees," she often asked as a child whether she had any ancestors on the Mayflower and eventually went on to prove nine different Pilgrims, some with multiple lines, and I'm still looking. As a professional historian and a member of the General Society of Mayflower Descendants, she also felt a duty to share her data and her advice on how to find your Pilgrim ancestors. So, with the help of her son/web co-administrator, she created Mayflower Faces. Note: to avoid internet trolls, I have removed email addresses from this web site but I am not hard to find. Just put on your detective hat...the one with the buckles on it.
